Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High court, Abuja has  voided the participation of the All-Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded Anambra governorship election.

Justice Ekwo in a judgement held that the primary election of the APC that produced Senator Andy Uba as flag bearer of the party, substantially failed to comply with the electoral guidelines for the conduct of governorship primary election as well as the APC’s guidelines and constitution.

The judge subsequently disqualified Andy Uba and the APC from participating in the November 6 governorship poll, won by Professor Chukwuma Soludo of the All-Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

The court declared that APC had no candidate in the just concluded Anambra guber election, and ordered that Senator Andy Uba should Stop Parading himself as Candidate of APC.

Meanwhile, the judge asked APC to refund Chief George Moghalu, the complainant, his Nomination and Express of Interest form fees.
