The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, will devolve the Continuous Voter Registration exercise to all the three hundred and twenty-six registration Area centers in Anambra State beginning from Monday, August thirtieth 2021.

 

The exercise, which will end on Sunday, September fifth 2021, has the Registration  Area centers published at INEC offices in the twenty-one local government secretariat.

 

The CVR exercise is for New Registrants that are up to eighteen years of age but have not registered before, old registrants, who have experienced any form of problem with accreditation in past elections, such as failure to read card, failed authentication process, fingerprint issues and when a voter has PVC but can’t find name in Register.

 

The exercise is also for old registrants seeking transfer, collection of cards and correction of personal information among others.

 

The Commission enjoins eligible registrants to take advantage of this opportunity to register in order to participate in the November sixth, 2021 governorship election.

 

It also noted that in line with the provisions of the Electoral Act, the CVR exercise in Anambra State will be suspended on September sixth 2021.
