Nsukka Journalists Foundation has lauded Governor Willie Obiano for all inclusive governance as well as appointing Mr. James Eze as his Chief Press Secretary.

The foundation made the commendation shortly after an inspection tour of Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Umueri where they presented an award to governor Obiano.

The foundation is made up of practicing journalists who are indigenes of Nsukka in Enugu state.

Presenting a plaque to the governor at his country home, Aguleri, flanked by Mr. Eze and others, a member of the foundation Mr. Chijioke Amu-Nnadi said that by appointing Mr. Eze, governor Obiano has demonstrated non-partisanship in governance and described the Governor as someone who loves hard work and excellence.

Mr. Amu-Nnadi appreciated Governor Obiano for the tall vision of building an International Airport, which he noted will be of huge economic benefit not only for Ndi Anambra, but for South East Region and Nigeria in general.

He called on business men and women who import Cargo into the country to patronize the new cargo route in the South East, which he said will be more beneficial to them.

Responding, Governor Obiano recalled his days in the banking sector with young Eze, as a junior staff under him, adding that Mr. Eze was dedicated to duty which was why he invited him to head his media team.

The Governor maintained that his administration did not borrow money to fund the project to its current stage and pointed out that the project and other projects alike, are in line with his vision and mission statements which are geared towards influencing and changing the economic fortunes of Ndi Anambra.

On his part, Mr. Eze who was highly delighted promised to always toe the path of hard work.
