The Anambra state 2021 Sector Annual Operational Plan Development Workshop has ended in Awka.
 Participants during the session made inputs  on how to improve Primary Healthcare Delivery in the state. Kenechukwu Chukwudi reports that while
speaking during the workshop, the state Commissioner for Health; Dr. Vincent Okpala revealed that the five – day workshop initiated  two years ago,aims at improving welfare and healthcare delivery to Ndi Anambra through articulation  of ideas  by health professionals during the event and appreciated the state government for its  support in repositioning the healthcare system of the state.
Dr. Okpala also  explained  that the workshop will help  to further strengthen the state healthcare sector, to be able to attend to  emerging health issues in the state.
In his speech, the State Coordinator, World Health Organisation, Dr. Chukwumuanya Igboekwu ,  who was one of the partners in the workpshop, said the workshop is a collaborative effort to strengthen healthcare delivery in the state and also develop framework to monitor progress on quarterly bases while supporting the state government in its healthcare interventions.
 Participants were drawn from the state Ministry of Health, State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Public Healthcare and Epidemiology, Immunization and host of others.
