Anambra State chairman, Committee on Procurement, Pricing, Regulation
and Distribution of Petroleum Products, Chief Chris Okonkwo has
advised petrol tanker drivers to apply caution while driving at all
times.

Chief Okonkwo, who gave the advice when he visited where a petrol
tanker fell at Aguleri, Anambra East Council Area, appealed to them to
always apply caution as well as ensure that their tankers are steadily
maintained, especially this ember months and rainy season.

While applauding Governor Willie Obiano for providing state of the art
equipment for Anambra State Fire Service, Chief Okonkwo commended the
officials led by Engineer Martin Agbili for their prompt intervention,
which averted what would have been a fire incident, urging them to
sustain the tempo.
