The first batch of the one hundred and seventy-seven Anambra youths resident in Abuja have commenced training in cake preparation powered by the Anambra State Liaison Officer, Mrs Agatha Manafa, Ekwi Ajide reports that the training is expected to end in April next year.


Addressing the trainees, Mrs Manafa, urged them to be passionate about the training so as to learn without hindrance.


According to her, she was motivated to train the youths from her own fund as a way of giving back to the society.


While promising to train exceptionally dedicated ones to the master class in cake preparation, the Liaison Officer also promised to take care of their transportation to and from the training centre, as well as provide the perishable materials in addition to paying for the training.


The Cake instructor, Mrs Chinelo Menkiti advised the trainees to be mindful of their actions as kitchens have their own rules.
Some of the trainees, including Miss Chioma David from Osumenyi and Chinonso Omenankiti from Nri, thanked the Liaison Officer for the initiative and pledged to give their best so as to get the required knowledge to take over the Market.
It is expected that another group of twenty-five persons, will commence training after one month.
