A former deputy Chairman of the Awka South Local Government Area, Barrister Chike Oranye,
has called on the state government to rehabilitate the Umuawulu-Amaetiti road to enhance more development in the area.
Barrister Oranaye who made the call, noted that the road links Awka South to Orumba North Local Government Areas in the state.
Commendending Governor Willie Obiano for his achievements so far , the former Deputy Council Boss, urged him to redouble his efforts and ensure geographical spread in his administration of the state.
He regretted that at the national level, the situation is different and urged the federal government to seat up in addressing the plight of Nigerians and fixing moribund institutions.
