Ndi Anambra and other residents of the state have been urged to take full ownership of all government facilities in their various communities.

The appeal was made by the State Chairman, Akpokuodike Action Group for Continuity Mr Michael Nwofia while speaking to the ABS in Awka.
According to Mr Nwofia, the need to protect and guard the facilities became imperative due to the huge resources government spent in erecting such projects.
Contributing, the traditional ruler of Nise, in Awka South local government area, Igwe Romanus Iloh, admonished community leaders in the state to be at the vanguard of protecting government facilities, projects and equipment in their various communities for the overall interest of the state.
Igwe Iloh who maintained that government and its projects and facilities belong to the people, made it clear that Governor Willie Obiano has done well in the protection of the lives and property of Ndi Anambra and called on the people to support him by being vigilante and conscious of their environment at all times.
Also speaking a community leader in Umuoba Anam, Anambra East Local Government Area, Chief Boniface Iloegbunam, urged Ndi Anambra as well as others living in the State to safeguard all government facilities around them and commended Governor Willie Obiano for transforming the State within the last three years.
