The Anglican Bishop of Niger West Diocese, Right Reverend Johnson Ekwe has called on Christians to be beacons of light where ever they find themselves.

In a sermon at the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe Anambra East Local Government Area, during a service of confirmation and admissions into the Girls Guild and Mothers Union, Bishop Ekwe who enjoined Christians to renew their strength as they wait upon the Lord, advised students not to involve themselves in cult activities in order to succeed in life.
He charged those that received the sacrament of confirmation during the service to be role models.
In a remark the Chaplain of the Chaplaincy, Reverend Canon Charles Chukwumah, called on Christians to allow the Holy Spirit to direct their daily lives.
Twenty-eight candidates received the sacrament of confirmation, while twenty-eight girls were admitted into the Girl’s Guild, as four women were enrolled into the Mothers Union.
