The Remains of Late Mrs Theresa Chinelo Aghadinuno has been committed to the Mother earth at her husband’s compound in Umuozoma, Abba Village, Nsugbe.
Late Mrs Chinelo Aghadinuno, the mother of the former Director of Finance, Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Sir Obi Aghadinuno died at the age of seventy nine years. According to our correspondent, Amaka Chibuzor Okoye who covered the Saint John De Baptist Catholic Church Nsugbe, the venue of the burial ceremony service, recorded influx of people including knight and ladies of the church, parishioner’s of Holy Trinity Parish Independence lay-out Enugu, government officials, ABS family, in-laws, friends and well wishers who converged to pay their last respect to Late Mrs Aghadinuno.
In a homily during the burial service, an indigenous priest of the community, very Reverend Father Ikem Ogugua said that death is a necessary end and Christian should always be ready for the last day by adhering to biblical instructions as well as follow God’s direction in order to make heaven.
Very Reverend Father Ogugua described the deceased as a virtuous woman who devoted all her life for the service of Christ, charging others to prepare themselves for salvation while alive.
The President of Catholic women Organization, Nsugbe, home and abroad, Lady Ngozi Emenecheta said the demise of late Mrs Aghadinuno has left a vacuum that will be hard to fill stating that while alive, she engaged in numerous activities to promote propagation of the gospel of Christ.
While commiserating with Aghadinuno family, the former Managing Director of the ABS, Sir Amobi Adirika, thanked God for the life well spent by the deceased, advising the children to remain united and ensure that they uphold the legacies of prayerfulness, assisting the needy and relating to all around them.
For the daughter of Late Madam Aghadinuno, Mrs Nnoyelum Nwabueze disclosed that their mother’s life was filled with Godly characteristics.
While thanking God and all who contributed to the success of the burial service, the first son of the deceased Sir Obi Aghadinuno said their mum lived a life of sacrifice, and prayed God to grant her eternal rest.
Special rendition by the Holy Trinity Parish Choir, Interment and condolences by inlaws, friends and well wishers formed the highpoint of the service.
