The State Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Sir Nobert Obi has described APGA as a political party for the progressives.
He stated this at Amesi in Aguata Local Government Area, during the grand rally of APGA faithful, in honour of a returnee, Mr. Ikenna Ezeibenne back to the APGA family.
Sir Nobert, who described APGA as a political party which has the interest of the people at heart, commended, Mr. Ezeibenne for taking the right decision.
In a remark, a former Deputy Governor of the State, Chief Emeka Sibeudu, advised Ndi Anambra to support Governor Willie Obiano who he said is massively developing the state.
In their separate speeches, a former National Chairman of APGA, Sir Victor Umeh, and Vice Chairman of APGA in the Anambra South Senatorial District, Chief Titus Anigbogu, as well as the member representing Aguata One constituency in the State House of Assembly, Dr Ikechukwu Umeh, and his Aguata two constituency counterpart, Mr Ikem Uzoezie appreciated Mr Ezeibenne for taking a bold step to return to APGA and asked Ndi Anambra to support the Obiano administration.
In his response, Mr Ezeibenne said he left APGA in anger, but later found out that the party is different from other political parties, because of its ideology.
