The Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Health has charged the Management and staff of Anambra State College of Health Technology, Obosi to produce quality graduates who can give very good account of themselves in the nation’s labour market.

The Committee made the assertion when they paid a familiarization visit to the College as part of their oversight responsibilities.
Addressing the Management and staff of the College, the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Nnamdi Okafor explained that they visited the school to know how they are faring and to ascertain their challenges for possible attention.
The Committee admonished the College Management and staff to always be proactive and have good records of their income and expenditure to avoid waste of funds.
It charged the school’s management to always execute projects that can stand the text of time as they are ready to expose any health institution or establishment that execute shoddy projects.
Receiving the Committee, the Provost Anambra State College of Health Technology Obosi, Dr. Robinson Mgbakogu disclosed that the HND graduant of the College are now qualified to participate in the National Youth Service Corps due to Governor Obiano effort.
He also noted with satisfaction the installation of a brand new transformer at the College, provision of a Special waver that allowed the College to employ critical staff for the College among others.
The Committee also visited school of Nursing and Midwifery Nkpor, where they expressed their determination to make the school best among equals.
In her remarks, the Principal of the School, Mrs. Helen Obidife promised that they would work with the committee to achieve the state government’s vision in education.
