A Saudi-bound pilgrim, Basiri Binuyo, who was arrested at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has excreted more drugs.

This came a week after she excreted 76 pellets of drugs which tested positive to cocaine.
Binuyo, according to the NDLEA, has excreted fourmore wraps of the substance.
In a statement it issued on Saturday, NDLEA said that Binuyo would be punished according to Nigeria’s anti-narcotics laws.
NDLEA Commander at the Abuja Airport, Hamisu Lawan, in the statement, disclosed that the wraps of cocaine ingested by the suspect were excreted while under observation.
He said: “Mrs Binuyo Basari Iyabo while under observation expelled 80 wraps of cocaine weighing 931 grammes.
“All arrangements have been concluded for her prosecution,” Lawan said.
Binuyo, 55, was arrested during the outward screening of passengers on an Emirates flight to Medina, through Dubai by operatives of the NDLEA
The mother of three and an indigene of Kwara State, told the operatives under interrogation that she needed money to expand her business.
She allegedly said: “My sponsor offered to foot my expenses to Saudi on pilgrimage. This was how I got involved in the act. I was excited until the issue of drugs was introduced. I wanted to decline but it was late.
“Besides, I was offered a million naira which I accepted. I swallowed the drugs in Lagos and took a flight to Abuja on my way to Medina but I was caught in the process,” Binuyo said,
The NDLEA Chairman, Muhammad Abdallah, said the organisation will invoke the powers of the law against the suspect and others caught indulging in the production and trafficking in narcotic drugs.
“It is a shameful and discreditable act for a 55-year-old mother who is going on a holy pilgrimage to ingest narcotics,” Abdallah
