A high powered delegates summit of Petroleum and Lubricants dealers is ongoing in Awka.
The conference themed “Sanitizing The Petroleum Sector: the Role of the Government and the Private sector” is targeted at bringing government policy makers and major players in the petroleum products market together to harmonize solutions that will lead to overall growth of the oil economy in the state.
The Summit is organized by the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on NUPENG, Petroleum and Union Matters, Comrade Peter Nwosu.
Participating in the Summit include delegates from petroleum products marketers in the State, the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Anambra State Sector Command, Anambra State Fire Service, Petroleum Dealers Association of Nigeria, PEDAN, Nigerian Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, Standard Organization of Nigeria, Anambra State Health Insurance Agency, ASHIA; Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, ACTDA; and other ancillary agencies and Unions.
