The Chairman, Post-Primary Schools Service Commission, (PPSSC), Awka, Lady Joy Ulasi has challenged the newly-admitted students in the State Public Schools to take advantage of the existing enabling environment in Anambra State Education system to excel.
Delivering a keynote address at Army Day Secondary School, Onitsha to declare open the 2015/2016 State-wide orientation for new students in JSS one, SS one and transferred students, Lady Joy advised the students to make hardwork their watch-word.
In his goodwill message, the Chairman of Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB), Chief Nzemeka Olisa, among other things, commended Supervisors of Special Duties (SSDs) in the school system for their roles in moulding the students in the right path.
In a welcome address, the Onitsha Zonal Director of Education, Mrs. Bibiana Anyichie, extolled the rising profile of the state’s education sector and called for sustenance through full participation by all stakeholders.
