Governor Willie Obiano says he is prepared to make sacrifices for the well being of Ndi Anambra.
He stated this at the Dr Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, during the inauguration of his second term in office.
Government House Correspondent Kenechukwu Ofomah quotes the Governor as saying that his victory in the November eighteenth, 2017 gubernatorial election belongs to Ndi Anambra who demonstrated that they can rise above parochial interests to commit to the growth and development of the State.
He revealed that during his second term, his administration will be introducing a new enabler, the creative economy, to harness the creative potential of Ndi Anambra across various spheres.
Governor Obiano restated his commitment to upgrading Awka Capital Territory to a twenty-first century city, calling on the people to support his administration.
In his remark, the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Mr Emeka Mmaduegbuna, said in his first term, Governor Obiano laid a solid foundation for the development of the State and expressed optimism that he will consolidate on his achievements in the second term.
An APGA Stakeholder, Mr Primus Odili, observed that because Governor Obiano came prepared, he was able to address headlong, the major issues that inhibited investments and development of the State describing his second term as well deserved.
