APGA, Engr. Dom Okafor, has described Governor Willie Obiano as a technocrat and seasoned administrator whose experience has impacted positively on the state.

Speaking at a meeting with APGA stakeholders in his Igboukwu Ward One country home, Aguata Federal Constituency, over the weekend, Engr. Okafor said Obiano’s people-oriented governance motivated him to play a role in the present drive to remodel the state and contribute his quota to it’s development.

He called on the people of the state to rally round the Governor in order to maximally tap the dividends of democracy.

On the ongoing voter registration, Engr. Okafor urged the people of the state to avail themselves of the opportunity by turning out massively to register, noting that it was through such action that they could elect the right people to manage their affairs.

Engr. Okafor said he would soon liaise with media houses to launch an enlightenment campaign on the need to register.

On the meeting he held with his ward and local government chairmen of APGA, he said it was aimed at sharing his vision on promoting collective welfare of the state and expressed satisfaction at the turn out for the meeting.
