Stakeholders have been urged to forge a common front toward achiving the common interest of Ndigbo.
Speaking at Nanka, the State President of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Chief Damian Okeke- Ogene said the Apex socio-cultural organization would continue to carry everybody along and reach out to all relevant institutions and authorities to harness ideas on issues affecting Ndigbo while remaining non patrician.
Chief Okeke Ogene enjoined Igbo Men and Women, irrespective of religious and political party leaning, to continue to identify with the Igbo agenda and contribute towards building a brighter future with better opportunities for everybody.
He disclosed that the Ohaneze Ndigbo would soon embark on enlightenment of Ndigbo in all parts of the country on the need to “think home and extend part of their investments to their home states to protect their future and help accelerate the overall development of Igbo land.
In his remark, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters, Mr. Arinzechukwu Awogu, commended the Ohaneze for its contributions in entrenching Political stability in the state, especially by insisting on the implementation of the zoning formula during the last Governorship election and extolled the leadership qualities of Chief Okeke- Ogene.
