Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has assented to six new bills.
Governor signed the bills at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia, accompanied by Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze, among others and the new laws include, Anambra State Development and Investment Corporation Law, 2025, Anambra State Electricity Law, 2025, Anambra State Homeland Security (Amendment) Law, 2025, Anambra State Herbal Practice Law, 2024.
Others are Anambra State Indigenous Traditional Medicine Practices Law, 2025 and Anambra State Mission Schools of Nursing and Midwifery (Amendment No. 2) Law, 2025.
The Governor commended the State House of Assembly for working closely with the executive to make laws that affect Ndi Anambra positively, calling for more partnership.
