People from all walks of life gathered in Awka to celebrate an impactful life of Justice Godwin Ononiba who celebrated his eighty-eight birthday during which a book titled” Wisdom On The Bench” The Enduring Legacies of Justice Godwin Ononiba was unveiled.
Felicitating with the men of bench and bar as well as Ononiba’s family, the Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo said it was rear to see people who pen down their journey and experiences in life for others to emulate and described the state judiciary as the most hard working in the country asking them to follow the footsteps of Justice Ononiba to remain transparent, honest and just in all their dealings as they are the voice of the voiceless.
Appreciating all who gathered to honor their father, the celebrant’s daughter, Justice Irene Ndigwe noted the qualities their father was made of which made him to rose to the rank of State Chief Judge and currently, Traditional Prime Minister of Nimo community, describing him as humble, gentle and honest to the core, praying God for more years ahead.
