An illustrious son of Awka community, Chief Michael Nwankwo-Nwofor has celebrated his ninety fifth birthday with a thanksgiving Service at Saint Faith Cathedral, Awka.
In a sermon at the service, Reverend Udochukwu Okeke, urged Christians not to allow the devil to win them in any battle by resisting him at all times and advise them to use the Lenten season to make amends where necessary in order to attract blessings of the season.
In their various speeches, the first son of the celebrant, Barrister Kingsley Nwofor, his first daughter, Mrs Uju Obu, among others, appreciated God for blessing their father with longevity and good health.
On his part, the celebrant, Chief Nwofor who is an academic doctor, thanked his children and well-wishers for celebrating him, and prayed God to grant them their heart desires.
