The People of Onitsha South local government area yesterday gathered in thanksgiving rally to honor the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, while also expressing gratitude to Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his impactful leadership within the party as well as the local government area.

Speaking during the event held at Chuba Ikpeazu Stadium, the State Commissioner for Special Duties, Barrister Beverly Ikpeazụ-Nkemdiche and the Mayor of Onitsha South Local Government Area, Chief Emeka Orji, praised the Governor for the completion of a General Hospital and eighteen roads in Onitsha South, among numerous other projects.

The State Chairman of APGA, Barrister Ifeatu Obiokoye, underscored Governor Soludo’s achievements, saying that he has performed beyond expectations and has shown so much to the local government, bringing transformation to all parts of Anambra, while a former National Chairman of the party, Chief Victor Oye, described Governor Soludo as a man who has come to change the dynamics of the state without resorting to borrowing.
