The traditional Ruler of Umueri in Anambra East local government area, Igwe Ben Emeka has called for the compilation of Hotel directory in Anambra State as part of efforts aimed at improving Hospitality industry in the State.
Speaking on the ABS Radio and Television programme Tonimas half hour in Awka, Igwe Emeka who is a proprietor of Hospitality industry in Anambra State, described Hospitality industry as a major contributor to the internally Generated Revenue of any government, adding that Hospitality industry attracts foreigners to the State which he said creates veritable platform for tourist attractions and called on those in the Hospitality industry to always engage their worker’s in training to enable them be at par with what is obtained globally.
Igwe Emeka who described epileptic power supply and poor government patronage as the bane of Hospitality industry in Nigeria called for the reduction of constant tax being charged on hospitality industry for enhanced performance.
