Isinyi village Nando, Anambra East Local Government Area has joined the league of communities that harkened to the Public Private Community Partnership initiative of Governor Chukwuma Soludo with the ongoing construction of three point three kilometers Avor Ikem-Oye Isinyi-Igbariam road.

ABS Works Correspondent Ngozi Obileri who monitored pace of work on the road reports that drainage construction has been completed on about one kilometer on both sides of the road with a two-box culvert completed.

Reacting to the development, the President-General, Nando Development Union, Chief Christopher Nwakor who is also from Isinyi Nando while appreciating Ndi Isinyi for the bold step said that the Governor has turned Anambra to a project site, adding that the only borehole in their community which hitherto was moribund, is now functional through the intervention of  Governor Soludo and explained that they decided to start work on the road because of the call by Governor Soludo for everyone to join hands with his government to move Anambra forward, while the Secretary Isinyi Progressive Union, Obumneme Ezeadi said that they have exhausted the resources within their reach since the drainage and box culverts are constructed according to government standard, appealing to Governor Soludo to come to their aid and complete the road.

On their parts, the Councilor representing Isinyi Nando ward three, and the financial Secretary, Isinyi Progressive Union, Mr Ernest Melikam and Mr Amaechi Ajana, who extolled the good works of the governor across the state, described him as a project Governor, and noted that the road when completed, will not only reduce cost of food stuff but will ensure availability of various farm produce because Nando is an agrarian community.
