Gemstone Table Water Industry has been officially launched at Abidi village, Umuoji in Idemili North Council Area.

 

Addressing the people during the event, the owner of the industry, who is a notable son of Umuoji, Mr Okechukwu Nwachukwu, explained that the industry was not just to create employment and generate revenue, but also to improve health as the machines in the industry are fully automated, even as he explained that their bottles and caps is customized with a technology that ensures that manufacturing date and the other important information are  coded, encouraging people to patronize and drink the water with confidence.

The Chairman of Idemili North Local Government Area, Honourable Stanley Nkwoka in a brief speech, announced one year tax waiver to the industry to encourage others to think home and invest and ensure further assistance in the areas that will expand the industry.

 

The Chief Supervisor of the industry, Comrade Uche Udego stressed that the industry has standard laboratory and employed professionals to ensure quality production control.

Gemstone Table Water Industry will be producing 60cl, 75cl, 150cl, dispenser bottles and sachet water.
