Governor Chukwuma Soludo has received former members of the People’s Democratic Party in Anambra state into the All Progressives Grand Alliance, describing APGA as the big tent for progressive politics in the state.
Addressing a crowd filled with enthusiastic supporters at Professor Dora Akunyili Women’s Development Centre, Awka, Governor Soludo described the movement as a mission ordained by God and urged the new members to contribute meaningfully towards the upcoming elections.
The State Chairman of APGA, Barrister Ifeatu Obiokoye, shared insights on the extensive groundwork being laid by the new coalition, stating that they conducted verification, and the group showed a strong presence in all the wards, signifying a robust organizational framework aimed at ensuring the success of their political objectives.
Earlier, the former Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Honourable Chukwudi Umeaba, reaffirmed the importance of the coalition, and pointed out that they came to tell the world that they are joining the moving train, because Anambra is better for it under Governor Soludo.
