Anambra State Government says it will unveil the “buy yourself old age” project soon.
Governor Chukwuma Soludo who stated this at Saint Joseph’s Cathedral, Ekwulọbịa during an event to mark the fifth anniversary of the creation of the Diocese revealed that his administration is working towards establishing a home for old people and the vulnerable to alleviate their sufferings.
He further said that land has been secured for the project, adding that care for the poor, the old and vulnerable is at the essence of his administration’s existence.
On his part, the Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese, Peter Cardinal Okpalaeke appreciated God for the growth of the church in the diocese, which he said demonstrates that God is ever close to His people even within the period of the COVID-19 pandemic.
