Residents of Okpoko and environs came out in their thousands to jubilate as Governor Chukwuma Soludo Commissioned Hospitals and Roads in the community.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, the Anambra State Commissioner for Housing, Honourable Pauly Onyeka recalled that Okpoko used to be an uninhabitable place, with no social amenities, adding that with the determination of the present administration, the place has been given a new lease of life for residents to enjoy basics amenities.
A resident of Okpoko, Mrs. Cynthia Azubuike from Imo State noted that she has lived in Okpoko for five years and said that the level of transformation the place has witnessed was never imagined, as the place is now referred to as ‘small London’ appreciating the Governor for his intervention.
