The Independent National Electoral Commission says it is making arrangements for the conduct of bye-elections in Anambra South Senatorial District, Onitsha North Constituency One and Anambra State governorship election.
Correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim reports that the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Independent National Electoral Commission in Anambra State, Dr Queen Elizabeth Agwu who disclosed this during a press briefing held at INEC office in Awka maintained that the elections will be credible and that INEC has no preferred candidate for the polls.
Dr Agwu revealed that the dates for bye-elections in Anambra South Senatorial District and Onitsha North Constituency One will be announced in due course and the Commission will provide a level playing ground for all the political parties that will participate in the three elections.
