What would best be described as a wedding with class was over the weekend witnessed in Eziowelle, Idemili North council area during the traditional marriage between Chideraa Mmegbuanaeze and Obiora Egwuim of Umunachi.

 

Held at Uzubi primary school field, Eziowelle, the traditional marriage attracted many dignitaries who gather to bear witness to the union.

 

The arena was lavishly decorated to suit the class of people being united and their families.

The bride Miss Chideraa Mmegbuanaeze, now Mrs. Chideraa Egwuim, is the daughter of the late member that represented Idemili North constituency, Honourable Francis Mmegbuenaeze and Mrs. Nkoli, Mmegbuanaeze, who took over the position of her husband at the state House of Assembly upon his death.

 

Guests at the event took time to enjoy varieties of dishes and assorted wine for over four hours while they await the arrival of the bride and groom.

Speaking at the event, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Barrister Sylvester Ezeokenwa said he was very happy to be at the event as both families are very dear to him, wishing them a union bound in love, understanding and peace.

 

The mother of the bride Honourable Mmegbuanaeze who was full of appreciation to God for giving her a beautiful daughter and handsome son in-law, thanked those who came to rejoice with her family and prayed for celebration not to seize in their families.

In their separate reactions, the parents of the groom, Chief and Mrs. Ifeanyichukwu Egwuim explained that the groom is their last son who was well trained to do what his mates are doing at the appropriate time, praying God to bless them with the fruit of womb, longevity and good things of life.

 

On behalf of the new couple, the bride Mrs. Chideraa Egwuim said they thank God that they found love in one another, noting that her husband, Obiora is the best man on earth whom she described as caring and loving.
