The Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has tasked political office holders on judicious use of public funds for the good of the masses.

 

Governor Soludo was speaking at the thanksgiving service of the member representing Orumba North and South Federal Constituency, Princess Chinwe Clara Nnabuife, at St Paul’s Church, Umunze.

While welcoming her into the All-Progressives Grand Alliance, party, the Governor who advised political office holders against stealing public funds, noted that it is the time given to Princess Nnabuife by God to deliver service to the masses, assuring of synergizing with her for the good of the people.

While describing religious organizations as the biggest existing civil society, Governor Soludo commended their efforts over years, stressing that everyone has a role to play to ensure even development of the society and promised that as a government, his administration will continue to prioritize interventions in all sectors of the state economy.

Earlier in a sermon, the Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor stated that God has given everyone a new life in Christ by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, saying that Governor Soludo has been doing well since he assumed office.

 

In her speech, Princess Nnabuife thanked God for delivering her mandate and disclosed that her political journey started in 2018, stating that Governor Soludo’s uncommon leadership style was instrumental to her mandate recovery.

The former Deputy Governor of the State Mr Emeka Sibudu, the Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Foster Ihejiofor, the Chairman, Anambra State Urban Regeneration Council, Architecture Mike Okonkwo, Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu, Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba North Council area, Sir Ogochukwu Ekwueme, his Orumba South counterpart, Prince Neville Uchendu, among others, attended the event.
