The Transition Committee Chairman of Ekwusigo local government area Mr Chimezie Obi says Governor Chukwuma Soludo is committed to giving Ndi Anambra quality governance.

 

Speaking to the ABS in his office at Ozubulu, Mr Obi said that the multi facet approach to governance by the Soludo led administration is part of a move by the government towards making Anambra livable, green and prosperous Homeland and charged the people to continue with their support to his administration.

 

He urged the people to help in realizing the green and livable Homeland initiative of the Soludo administration by making all their environment clean, livable and prosperous through dumping of refuse inside all the receptacles provided by the government in their various Communities.

 

Mr Obi who described the period of Easter as a period to show appreciation to God for sending His only son Jesus Christ to die for the salvation of mankind, maintained that without the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, there would be no hope for Christianity.

 

The transition committee Chairman stressed the need for people, especially the affluent to always remember the less privileged individuals in their midst during this Easter period and beyond in order to give them a sense of belonging.

 

He commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo and his wife Nonye for all their Programmes aimed at improving the living standards of Ndi Anambra and promised to replicate all the people-oriented Programmes and policies of the Soludo administration in Ekwusigo local government area to ensure that the people of the area will continue to benefit from the numerous developmental strides of the government.

 

Mr Obi called on the people to key into the private public community partnership Initiative of the Soludo administration, especially in the area of Road and other infrastructure that will have direct impact on the people for enhanced development of Anambra State.
