The Anglican Bishop of Ogbaru Diocese Right Reverend Prosper Amah says having an encounter with Jesus brings answer to life challenges.

 

Delivering his Easter message at the Basilica of Saint James the reat cathedral Atani, Bishop Amah charged Christians to always be in touch with Christ in order to have focus and direction in all they do.

 

He said that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ brought salvation to mankind, and charged the faithful to always believe in Christ in order to be saved.

 

Right Reverend Amah urged those entrusted with leadership positions to emulate the simplicity and Humility Of Jesus Christ in serving the people warning them against using their positions to oppress the masses.

 

Bishop Amah regretted the untold hardship Nigerians are passing through in a country richly blessed by God and reminded those in authority of the need to always carry the people along in making policies.

 

He urged Christians to always give good testimonies about the resurrection of Jesus Christ like those men who travelled the Night from Emmaus to Jerusalem to announce to the disciples that Jesus Christ has risen in deed.

 

Right Reverend Amah cautioned Christians against those acts that will continue to portray Christianity in bad light, reminding them of the need to always live lives capable of winning souls for God.

 

Bishop Amah who said that the significance of Christ resurrection is that the faithful are counted among the righteous, in addition to having a name that is recognized by death, demons, principalities and Powers as every knee will continue to bow at the mention of His name.

 

The Ogbaru Diocesan Bishop who described Easter as the foundation of Christianity maintained that without death and resurrection of Jesus Christ there will be no hope for Christians.

 

Bishop Amah charged Christians to desist from those behavior that will make Easter lose its concept and meaning.
