The distribution of two thousand laptops to Head teachers and Principals of schools by Governor Chukwuma Soludo is a critical game changer in the effort to fully digitalize the education system in Anambra State.

This is according to the state Commissioner for Special Duties, Barrister Beverly Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche, while speaking to journalists immediately after joining Governor Soludo to distribute the laptops at the International Convention Centre, Awka.

The Special Duties Commissioner, who expressed joy and satisfaction with the initiative, described it as progressive and particularly important in placing the state as a destination for world class education in Nigeria.

She praised Governor Soludo as a true solution provider and emphasized that the present and the future hold much promise for children of the state with the level of reforms and transformation being implemented by the Soludo-led administration.

Barrister Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche charged the Head teachers and Principals to ensure that the purpose for the distribution of the laptops are achieved by putting them to good use and appropriating the laptops for the benefit of their schools.

Governor Soludo had earlier distributed two thousand laptops to all the Head teachers and Principals of public and public-mission primary and secondary schools in the state, and assured of the commitment of his administration to ensure that global standard education is instituted in Anambra State.
