More reactions are trailing the appointment of Governor Chukwuma Soludo into the President Ahmed Tinubu’s Economic Advisory Team.
Speaking in Awka, the Vice President of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Damian Okeke Ogene commended President Tinubu for his wisdom in appointing experts to help solve economic problems of the country.
Chief Okeke Ogene noted that Governor Soludo has the knowledge, experience and skills to help solve the problem facing the country and recalled that he has over the years made remarkable contributions in building the economy of the country.
He noted that the appointment is a testimony that them has remained consistent in his approach in handling economic policies and proactive in implementing them.
The Ohaneze Vice President said the country should always focus on merit and antecedents in trying to to find permanent solutions to various challenges confronting various sectors and play down on tribal, political and religious sentiments.
Chief Okeke Ogene observed that Governor Soludo over the years made significant and visible contributions in shaping global economy through his engagements with international organizations and is presently using his wealth of experience to transform Anambra State.
On the inauguration of the Geometry Power Plant in Aba Abia state, Chief Okeke Ogene noted that given a level playing grounding, Ndigbo have the potential and enterprising spirit to accelerate industrial development of the Nigeria.
Also speaking, an Economist Dr Kevin Chukwujejwu expressed confidence that the team would chart new course for economic recovery to reduce the high cost of goods and services and save Nigerians from hunger, starvation and poverty.
