The Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Sir Chido Obidiegwu, on behalf of the management and staff of the establishment has felicitated renowned philanthropist and illustrious son of Akwaeze commuinty in Anaocha Local Government Area, Chief Ikenna Okafor, on his recognition by Sun Newspapers as the Humanitarian Service Man of the Year.
Sir Chido, in a statement released in Awka described the recognition of Chief Okafor as well thought decision given his massive contribution to the development of education and his community through his philanthropic projects.
The ABS Managing Director, who recalled that Chief Okafor is ABS Man of the Year 2023, stated that the recognition by Sun Newspapers is not just iconic but strategic towards providing role models for the younger generation in an era when they lack many models to look up to.
He prayed that God will continue to bless Chief Okafor with more wisdom, strength, resources and enablement to continue to impact lives positively in his Akwaeze community, Anambra State and Nigeria at large.
