Over one hundred students have been admitted into Anambra State College of Health Technology Obosi as the institution holds its twenty-third matriculation ceremony.

 

The twenty-third Matriculation ceremony of the college was held at its arena in Obosi Idemili North Local Government Area.

 

The event attracted the Managing Director of Anambra State Health Insurance Agency, ASHIA, Dr. Simeon Onyemaechi, parents of the matriculants, and friends of the college.

Governor Soludo represented by the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Afam Obidike expressed satisfaction with the rapid development of the college and attributed it to the innovative solutions being introduced by his administration in the health sector and called on Ndi Anambra to continue to support his government to enable him actualize his lofty visions for the state.

 

He charged the new students to be law abiding, focused on their education to become better health workers in the future as well as maintain the excellence for which the college is known since its inception.

In his welcome address, the Provost of the college, Mr Daniel Ezeobi, congratulated the newly admitted students and advised them to always strive for excellence so as to become good health workers.

 

Mr Ezeobi added that the college is focused on providing a well-trained health professional to boost the highly needed manpower in the health sector of the country.

 

While admitting the matriculants as full-fledged students of the school, the Provost thanked Governor Chukwuma Soludo for showing magnanimity to the College by providing funds for the numerous renovations and ongoing structures in the College.

Speaking to the ABS, the Acting Registrar of the College, Mrs. Esther Anetoh expressed satisfaction with the rate at which the College is growing academically and extolled the provost for his efforts promising that the College will continue to produce first class health practitioners in the world.

 

Appreciating the management for admitting them, two of the matriculants, Onyeka Onyeacholam and Martin Ikeh promised to abide by the school rules and regulations.

 

The twenty-third matriculation ceremony featured procession by the students, Oath taking, inspection of some facilities by the Governor , special rendition by the College Choir among others.
