The Nigerian Army has assured of improved security in Anambra State.

General Officer Commanding 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Hassan Taiwo Dada, gave the assurance when he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Chukwuma Soludo at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia.

The GOC said the visit was to discuss potential collaboration on the security front, and to strengthen the synergy between the Army and civil administration.

During the meeting, Major General Dada discussed several issues relating to security in the region, and the need to continue to tackle the menace posed by insecurity.

The GOC emphasized the importance of close coordination between the Army and civil administration to ensure peace and security.
