The Solution Promoters Forum has inaugurated its Board of Patrons and Technical Committee members.
The inauguration took place during the 2023 Annual Congress of the Forum in Awka with the theme, ‘Zero Hunger, Zero Poverty Initiatives. Paul Ezeoke reports
that the National Leader of the Forum Honourable Andy Okafor said the gethering was to restrategize on how to carry out the second phase of their mandate of partnering Governor Chukwuma Soludo in bequeathing the state a smart livable homeland.
Honourable Okafor expressed satisfaction that the founding fathers of the Forum facilitated the enthronement of well articulated visionary government for effective harnessing of the abundant human and natural resources in the State.
In a paper titled, ‘Two Years of Solution Agenda : Challenges and Prospects’, Mr Chike Nwegbe described the Solution Agenda as the most critically thought out and multi dimensional economic development template for transforming underperforming, under managed and chaotic economies into world class status.
Mr Nwegbe recounted various achievements recorded by the Governor Soludo’s administration in various sectors within eighteen months and called for collective efforts and support to encourage the Governor to achieve his vision for the people.
In another presentation, the Guest Speaker and Director of Songhai Integrated System Port Novo, Professor Godfrey Nzamujo, explored prospects in Integrated and Regenerative Agriculture towards sustainable agro- business enterprenuership in African economy and stressed the need for African countries to invest adequate resources to migrate from linear and disjointed agricultural practices to new generative agricultural initiative driven by science and modern technology for organic production.
In their separate reactions, the Chairman of the Planning Committee Sir Amobi Nwafor and Secretary Mr Okey Emmanuel expressed satisfaction with the success of the Congress and restated the commitment of the Forum towards giving Governor Soludo all necessary assistance to entrench good governance in Anambra State.
