Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has tasked the people of Nteje community to continue in peaceful co-existence, an essential step towards maintaining law and order in the state.

Governor Soludo made the call when Chief Mike Nwakalor gave out his daughter’s hand in traditional marriage at his compound in Nteje, Oyi Local Government Area.

Governor Soludo, who emphasized the importance of peaceful co-existence and mutual respect for people’s beliefs and values, said it is important for people to come together and work towards creating a harmonious and safe environment.

The Governor described Chief Nwakalor as his friend of long standing, and praised Ndi Nteje and Oyi Local Government Area for supporting his government.

While highlighting his administration’s strides in the state, Governor Soludo asked the new couple to emulate their parents and married couples that succeeded, praying that their marriage will be peaceful, fruitful, with happiness, love and endurance.
