The Parish Priest of Saint Gabriel Catholic Church, Nodu-Okpuno in Awka South Local Government Area Reverend Father Emmanuel Offormata says Jesus Christ is ever faithful to intervene in any turbulence of life and bring the situation under control.

Reverend Father Offormata who stated this in a homily said Jesus is the master whose supremacy is second to none and his presence brings any situation to an end.

 

At Saint Stephen’s Anglican Church, Mgbakwu in Awka North Local Government Area the Vicar and Archdeacon of Mgbakwu Archdeaconry Venerable Jason Onyeakagbusi noted that faith comes by the hearing of the word of God and when one separate from activities of the church, growth will be difficult and regretting that many have left the way of God to pursue earthly things.

Venerable Onyeakagbusi maintained that as Christians, the faithful should grow from primary level of faith to the highest echelon.

 

Meanwhile, the Superintendent in charge of Awka, Christ Holy Church International, Venerable David Achukwu has encouraged women to promote peace, steadfastness and optimism in their homes while believing and accepting Christ who will help to fight forces on their ways.

Venerable Achukwu noted that in many homes, women are being molested and relegated to the background and charged every woman to remain focused in life.
