Governor Chukwuma Soludo has officially flagged off the construction of the ten-point-nine kilometers Igbo Ukwu-Ikenga-Ekwulobia road and the seven-point-eight Achina-Onneh-Agbudu-Ogboji road both in Aguata local government area.
The Governor also inspected the progress made by the contractors as works have long began on the two roads.
The Governor after the Flagg off and inspection interacted with the people of Aguata local government area at both Igbo-Ukwu and Achina, where he promised to continue keeping to his contract with Ndi Anambra.
The Governor also used the occasion to present all the All Progressives Grand Alliance Candidates contesting for different offices to the people of Aguata and asked them for their total support come twenty-fifth February and March eleventh general elections.
The Attorney General and State Commissioner for Justice, Professor Sylvia Ifemeje in her speech, thanked Governor Soludo for making all parts of the state feel the presence of his administration within eleven months in office and asked the people of Aguata to show commitment by voting APGA Candidates in the coming elections.
The Transition Committee Chairman of Aguata local government area, Dr Chibueze Oforbuike who thanked Governor Soludo for keeping to his promises, assured that he will do his bit at the Local Government level to support the Governors vision.
The event was attended by some critical stakeholders in the area, including the Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba South local government area, Prince Neville Uchendu, former Chairman of Aguata local government area, Mr Eche Ezibe, the state Commissioner for works, Engineer Ifeanyi Okoma among others.
