Governor Chukwuma Soludo says the Solution Innovation District where ten thousand youths will be trained on digital skills is under way.
Governor Soludo disclosed this during the twenty-seventh-year anniversary of Holy Child Secondary School, Isuofia in Aguata Local Government Area.
The Governor who spoke about the ongoing training of five thousand youths in one youth two skills initiative of his administration, noted that his agenda is to restore smile to those who have been forgotten.
He said that for the past few days, he has been visiting all the local government areas of the State, inspecting and inaugurating over two hundred and sixty kilometers of road.
Governor Soludo called on the students to be good citizens rather than joining those people that are destroying the society.
Earlier in a homily the Catholic Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese Peter Cardinal Okpaleke urged the church and citizens to rise up and perform their civic responsibility of electing the righteous.
Bishop Okpaleke, who stressed that citizens’ participation is at the core of the realization of the common good, pointed out that God’s intervention is needed at this critical time in the life of the Country.
