The Presidential candidate of the Labour party in the 2023 general election and former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, says the leadership problem of Nigeria will be solved in the upcoming 2023 general elections.

The Senator, who particularly called on the people of the South-East to review manner of recruitment of leaders to help in achieving good governance for sustainable development of the region, also noted that the recent increase in political awareness across the country will help birth a new Nigeria, expressing the hope that Independent National Electoral Commission INEC will be professional in discharging its mandate.
The Archbishop of Owerri Ecclesiastical Province and Bishop of Okigwe South Diocese, Most Reverend David Onuoha, called on Nigerians to be part of efforts to reclaim the nation for the good of all.
The Chairman on the occasion and traditional ruler of Umueri, Igwe Ben Emeka, Acting Vice Chancellor of Paul University, Venerable Professor Obiora Nwosu, and Chairman of the Planning committee, Professor Godwin Onu, described Most Reverend Anikwenwa as one who has contributed immensely in the development of the church and society, and called for more efforts to sustain the event and improve academic and infrastructural standards of the university.
