The Member representing Awka South Constituency Two in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Chief Chukwuma Okoye has distributed bags of rice and cash to over one thousand widows in the constituency in the spirit of his birthday.

The celebration was crowned with a thanksgiving mass held in his country home at Amawbia.

It was a celebration of God’s goodness in his life as the celebrant accompanied by his family, friends and constituents walked to the altar and offered thanks to the Lord.

In a homily, Reverend Father Chidi Ozumba stressed the need for Christians to give God thanks in all situations as it is the surest way to enjoy His blessings and protection at all times.
