Organizations and Stakeholders that have stake in the conduct of the 2023 General Elections have been charged to sharpen their talents and equipments in readiness for the election as Nigerians deserve the best.

 

The Director of National Orientation Agency in Anambra State Mr Charles Nworji, who gave the charge while playing host to the Anambra State Chairman of the Civil Liberty Organization, Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme, who visited him in his office in Awka, called for total application of equity and justice in the management of the affairs of the country.

Mr Nworji a lawyer said that the Agency is operating an open-door policy and ready to partner other Agencies, Organizations and Institutions that could contribute optimally towards sensitizing the public on its oriented programmes lined up for this year, especially on the 2023 general elections.

 

He identified paucity of fund as some of the factors militating against the smooth execution of the activities of the Agency in the State and Nigeria in general, pointing out that the Agency has before now made inroads in promoting the patronage of made in Nigeria goods and services and aggressive sensitization of the public on election matters over the years in the country.

Mr Nworji, appealed to the Organization to embark on the sensitization of Ndi- Anambra on the importance of participating actively in the monthly sanitation exercise.

 

Briefing the Director of National Orientation Agency in Anambra State on the essence of the visit the State Chairman, Civil Liberty Organization, Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme, said that they are poised towards building a new Nigeria deeply rooted on rule of law, justice and equity.

 

He urged the National Orientation Agency to intensify campaigns against domestic violence, child abuse, cultism, youth restiveness, voter apathy and as well enlighten Ndi Anambra on the need to be alive to their civic responsibilities.
