The new Anambra State Commissioner for Lands, Professor Offornze Amucheazi, has promised to improve in all ramifications, service delivery in the ministry.
Professor Amucheazi made the promise on his assumption of duty, after the handover note was presented to him by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Edwin Ejike.
The Commissioner, who was later taken round the Ministry by Mr. Ejike and other staff members, informed them that the governor was poised to making Anambra State a liveable and prosperous mega city and charged staff to join hands in achieving the objective.
While maintaining that land is a wealth creation entity, which if well harnessed, would attract lots of development in the state and increase government revenue, Professor Amucheazi charged them not to sabotage the government as increased revenue generation would be of benefit to the state and staff of the ministry.
On his part, Mr. Ejike, who on behalf of his workers, promised to partner the Commissioner to move the ministry to a higher level, urged the staff to be punctual and dedicated to their duties for optimal output, even as he commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for choosing a competent person for the job.
