As Ndi Anambra continues to bask in the euphoria of the new year celebration, stakeholders have called on the incoming administration in the State to ensure that it  sustains  all the achievements of the governor Willie Obiano led administration.

 

Speaking to the ABS in Awka, a chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Chuks-Michael Mofunanya commended governor Obiano for entrenching a peaceful state that brought about a crime free celebration.

 

Chief Mofunanya, an engineer, urged the incoming government of professor Chukwuma Soludo, to ensure that they sustain all the achievements of the current APGA led government, especially his signature projects.

 

Engineer Mofunanya advised the incoming administration to focus more on establishing an independent power plant in Anambra state, which he said will help the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) to grow, which will in turn aid the employment of more youths in Anambra state and reduce unemployment.

 

The Transition Committee Chairman, Ogbaru Local Government Area, Honourable Arinzechukwu Awogu, while wishing Ndi Anambra happy new year, also said that it will be an economic boom for Anambra state if the incoming administration will build a modular refinery in Ogbaru, to harness the full benefits of the huge mineral resources around the area.

 

For the APGA chairman of Anambra East Local Government Area, Chief Joseph Emeka Ekwealor, governor Obiano has written his name on gold with his numerous legacy projects scattered across the state and prayed that the year 2022 will be a glorious year for Ndi Anambra.

 

Others who spoke to the ABS, including the Secretary General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Youth wing, worldwide, Maazi Chukwuma Okpalezeukwu, the Public Relations Officer, Awka Development Union Nigeria, Comrade Emmanuel Oyeoka, the President General, Omambala Youth Forum, Prince Innocent Offordile, all eulogized governor Obiano for his dynamic leadership style which has placed Anambra state on the world map and prayed for a seamless transition of government on seventeenth March, 2022 in the State.
