It was an atmosphere of joy, as Reverend Pastor Patrick Chigbata of Christ Holy Church International number one, Agulu, celebrated his ordination with a thanksgiving service, as friends and families joined him to thank the lord.

Reverend Pastor Patrick Chigbata, who has been a teacher of God’s word, was ordained a Reverend Pastor, on Saturday March 6th 2021 at Ndoni Rivers State, by the General Superintendent of Christ Holy Church International, Most Rev Daniel Okoh.

During the thanksgiving service, held at the Church premises in Agulu, the officiating priest and Superintendent, in charge of Nteje Superintendency, Venerable Raphael Okoye, who delivered the sermon said that members of the church supposed to be close to each other and not allow the constant change of Ministers in the church to affect their faith.

Venerable Okoye also charged ministers of God to live up to their responsibilities and live lives worthy of emulation.

In their remarks, a retired Bishop of the Church, Right Reverend Christian Obiefuna, said that the celebrant has worked for the church in many capacities, which was why he was ordained and advised him to be truthful to his calling, as Venerable David Achukwu of Awka Superintendency, described him as vibrant and sincere servant of God.

Some children of the celebrant, including Messrs Daniel and Emmanuel Chigbata, expressed joy over God’s blessings to their family and described their father as a wonderful man of God and prayed for God’s continued guidance over his life and the ministry.

The celebrant, Reverend Pastor Patrick and wife, Deaconess Angelina Chigbata, thanked God for his faithfulness, as they are better poised to discharge their duties through the strength of God, and blessed all who came to identify with them.

The celebrant also used the thanksgiving service to mark his birthday while rendition of hymns and songs by the church choir added glamour to the celebration.
