Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr. Nkem Okeke has called on Ndi Anambra to subject selves to COVID-19 vaccination in order to be protected from the killer disease.

Deputy Governor Okeke made the call at Enugwu-Ukwu, Njikoka Local Government Area, during the burial ceremony of his  father ‘s step mother, late Mrs. Juliana Okeke, who died at the age of seventy-nine.

Government House Correspondent, Emmanuel Okonkwo reports that Dr. Okeke, who regretted that the COVID-19 vaccines could not go round the state at the first round, stated that residents must avail themselves the opportunity to be vaccinated when next the vaccine will be available for their safety, even as he encouraged them to continue to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols.

Earlier in a sermon, the Parish Priest of St Monica’s Anglican Church Enugwu-Ukwu, Reverend Emmanuel Ogboh advised Christians to avoid lifestyles that are capable of leading them into hell, and regretted that many Christians live a life of pretense and compromise instead of surrendering their lives totally to God.

Reverend Ogboh encouraged Christians to always use their talents and God given wealth to serve their fellow humans, as the things of the world are vanity.
